Rogers residents can get four free lawn tickets per household to the annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at the Walmart AMP which includes a concert by the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas. Pick up the tickets in person June 24–July 3 at the box office during normal business hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (not available online). Show your water bill as proof of residency.

I went on vacation this past week, and while I was gone the Governor called a special legislative session to cut taxes and fund the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Local citizens are running out of time to make a decision on running for nonpartisan municipal, Bentonville school board, NWACC board of trustees, and Beaver Lake Water District positions up this November.
